Operating the answering
machine remotely
~ When you hear the announce-
ment playing, press # and then
enter the system PIN.
You can now operate the answering
machine with the keypad. You will be
informed about the keys to be used for oper-
ation.
¤ Press M to replay the information.
If you press the talk key c on the handset
during a remote operation on the answering
machine, the operation will be terminated.
Replaying messages
remotely
You will be informed whether any new mes-
sages have been recorded. The function list
is replayed. Press 2 to play back the mes-
sages.
The following operations are possible by
pressing the corresponding key:
 Return to the start of the current
message. Press twice to go back
to the previous message.
3 Go to the next message.
2 Stop playback. Press again to
replay the messages, starting
with the first new message. If
there are no new messages, the
replay starts with the first old
message.
Q Delete the current message.
M Replay the function list.
L Switch off the answering
machine.
Activating/deactivating the
answering machine remotely
Activating remotely
In case the answerer machine is deactivated
it will announce "answering machine off“
after the 10th ringing.
~ Enter the system PIN within
seven seconds.
L Activate the answering
machine.
Deactivating remotely
You can deactivate the answering machine
remotely, if it is not in play mode.
L Deactivate the answering
machine.
