NOTE: NFPA Pamphlet #58 states, “All containers
used in industrial trucks (including fork lift
truck cylinders) service shall have the container
pressure relief valve replaced by a new or
unused valve within 12 years of the date of
manufacture of the container and each
10 years thereafter.”
tThe PV435L is intended as a
replacement relief valve on
cylinders which previously
incorporated a relief valve
with an external spring
tDo not use the PV435A for this type
of installation since the proper
function of the relief valve could be
restricted (see Fig. 1 for sump-type
coupling)
