OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Match Lighting Instructions
IMPORTANT: The hood must be open when match lighting any burner.
1. Turn on gas supply
a. If portable, at the LP cylinder valve.
b. If permanent gas supply, at the manual gas shutoff valve.
2. Locate the ame observation holes on each side.
3. Access the match holder stick hanging on the right leg assembly.
4. Attach the match to the clip (Fig. 30), light the match and insert it close to the ports of
the burner, and push and turn the depressed knob to the left to “HIGH” position.

5. The center burner (if needed) can be lit from center grid by inserting the match clip into the
front side of heat tent. Light this burner before igniting both outside burners.
6. Depress burner valve for that burner and turn to “HIGH.”
7. Observe that the burner has ignited. Remove the match and extinguish.
8. Repeat steps 2-6 for the next burner.
9. If the burners are still not lit, refer to the Troubleshooting section.
Replacing the Battery
1 . Unscrew the electrical ignition button and remove the old battery.
2 . Replace with a new AA battery.
Note:The negative (-) side of the battery goes in rst. Please refer to the mark on the side
of the cap.
