and safety information as possible to ensure that this product is handled properly. All components
listed for this product are bound within the product. When handled as intended and under normal
conditions, none of the ingredients should be released and should not pose a significant health risk.
SECTION 3: HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
PRIMARY ROUTE OF EXPOSURE:
Eye Contact, Skin Contact, Inhalation
SIGNS & SYMPTOMS OF EXPOSURE
EYES:
May cause irritation to the eyes.
SKIN:
May cause irritation to the skin.
INGESTION:
This product is not intended to be ingested. If ingested, it may
cause temporary irritation to the gastrointestinal (digestive) tract.
INHALATION:
May cause irritation to the respiratory tract.
ACUTE HEALTH HAZARDS:
People with pre-existing respiratory conditions, may experience
difficulty breathing, congestion, and chest tightness. Individuals
with skin condtions may temporarily worsen form exposure to this
product.
CHRONIC HEALTH HAZARDS:
N/A
CARCINOGENICITY:
Carbon Black is classified as a 2B carcinogen (possibly
carcinogenic to humans) by the International Agency for Research
on Cancer (IARC).
SECTION 4: FIRST AID MEASURES
FIRST AID PROCEDURES
EYES:
Flush eyes with large amounts of water for 10-15 minutes. If irritation
persists, contact a medical physician.
SKIN:
Wash off with soap and cold water. Warm water will open up pores to
allow futher fiber penetration.
INHALATION:
Move to fresh air. Drink water to clear throat and blow nose to remove
fibers.
INGESTION:
Rinse mouth with water and water to remove fibers from the throat.
