Umbrella With
Removable Black Cover
This excellent general-purpose umbrella
features a white, satin-textured, reflective
fabric positioned under the rib structure.
This placement removes the ribs from the
path of light to eliminate their ghost image
from appearing on the subject (image 2). A
removable black fabric cover prevents any
light from penetrating the white fabric that
could contaminate colour balance (image 1).
For high-key lighting, just remove the cover
to allow light (approximately 25%) to pass
through and bounce around the studio.

Umbrellas
These dual-purpose umbrellas feature a white interior
surface backed by removable silver fabric with a black
exterior. This provides a soft but highly efficient bounced
light source. For close-up lighting, the silver/black backing
can be removed, allowing you to get closer to the subject
while lighting through the umbrella. The unique eight-panel
design provides maximum reflectance and a circular
pattern of light.
