liquid temperature calibration baths
Heat Transfer Fluids
Bene ts and features
- Low viscosity
- Improves bath uniformity and stability
- Enhanced heat-up and cool down rates
- Lower cost than glycol and silicone oil type  uids
- Safe and non-toxic
- Convenient 18 liter (5 US gallon) containers
High Temperature Heat Transfer Fluid
This high temperature  uid o ers industry a practically non-toxic, versatile bath  uid that has proven to be cost e ective and thermally stable at
temperatures up to +315ºC. This  uid has demonstrated excellent performance over a wide range of temperature without compromising economics or
system integrity. Unlike the less stable mineral oil based  uid, our high temperature  uid provides the user with the con dence and reliability without
the premium price of other  uids. Recommended temperature range +60 to +250°C.
This  uid is not for long term (more than a few hours) continuous use above 100ºC as excessive
oxidation will occur. As with most high temperature  uids, a fume hood is recommended for
operating temperatures above 150ºC.

Recommended use range 60ºC to 250ºC (122ºF to 482ºF)
Techne high temperature bath  uid or its vapor, like many other heat transfer  uids, may ignite if released into the environment and exposed to hot surfaces, sparks, open  ames, or
other source of ignition.
Low Temperature Heat Transfer Fluid
The low temperature heat transfer  uid is engineered to o er non-toxic and low odor qualities at an a ordable price. This  uid will satisfy the expecta-
tions of the most demanding modern day customer by providing an environmentally sound and thermally e ective heat transfer  uid with a  ash point
of 61°C (141°F) or greater. The  uid o ers a low viscosity rating and unequalled heat transfer characteristics through its entire operating temperature
range. Recommended temperature range: -40ºC to 125ºC. A fume hood is recommended for open baths being operated at temperatures above +50ºC.
