Masimo Kite
Masimo Kite Software Application is a passive monitoring interface to
Point-of-Care (POC) Masimo medical devices (Root for example) that
co-exist under the same Wi-Fi network. Kite remotely displays system and
parameter status reported by the POC device on a separate monitor.
Root must be on the same network as Kite.
Note: If the device is not on the same network, it can be added, but Kite will
not be able to connect it to view the parameters monitored by that device
until both Kite and the device are connected to the same network.
To add Root to Kite to view parameter status, refer to the Masimo Kite
Software Application Operator's Manual.
Bluetooth Devices
External devices can be connected to Root through Bluetooth. For more
information about connecting an external device to Root through
Bluetooth, see Chapter 10: Bluetooth Devices on page 141.
