To connect a standalone device via an Iris Connectivity Port:
1. Connect the Iris Adapter to the standalone device. Refer to the Iris
Adapter Directions for Use.
2. Connect the RJ-45 end of the Iris Adapter to any of the four (4)
compatible Iris Connectivity Ports on Root using a RJ-45 cable.
Iris Icon
The Iris icon located in the Status Bar indicates Iris port connectivity status.
See About the Status Bar on page 45. The Iris ports are mapped to the Iris
icon according to the diagram below:
Iris connectivity port status is indicated in the Iris icon by color and shape.
