NIBP Air Leak Test
Note: This section is provided as a reference and intended for authorized
service personnel only.
Pass Criteria
International standards for automated NIBP devices require that air leakage
within the pneumatic system must not exceed 6mmHg/minute.
Equipment
 Calibrated Manometer*
 Pneumatic "T" Adapters
 500mL bottle
 Hand Bulb
 Connection Tubing
*Verify the manometer has been calibrated within the last 12 months.
Calibration accuracy shall be within ±0.02% to ±0.25% FS (Full Scale) and a
measurement uncertainty of ±1 LSD (Least Significant Digit).
