16.5: Fan Operation
16.5.1: Refrigerator Supply Fan

AIR FLOW
AIR FLOW
The bottom of the fan assembly is open to
recirculated air from the compartment. The
air is then pushed out into the compartment
through the fan blade.
To replace the fan motor; the fan assembly
must be removed and disassembled. Two
screws are seen in the photo and one is in the
upper flange (not shown).
The refrigerator fan is located
underneath the freezer
compartment in the left rear corner.
To replace the fan, drop the fan shroud,
disconnect the wire connector (1) and
remove all four screws (2) where the fan
grill, shroud and fan are assembled.
