A MODERN TAKE ON A CLASSIC DESIGN.
Since its introduction, the Motion Series has garnered acclaim for its
performance and value. Reviewers loved its “incredibly lifelike tonality
and imaging,”
1
 “excellent bass,”
2
 and “sharply defined soundstage.”
3
“Easily one of the best speakers I’ve tested,”
1
 one reviewer said, and
“you’re really getting a whole lot of speaker for your hard-earned
money,”
4
 said another.
So when it came time to introduce a new generation of the Motion
Series, we decided not to mess with a good thing. Today’s modern,
multi-application speakers utilize the same classic performance tech-
nology as previous generations of the Motion Series, updated with
a stylish new enclosure design. The result is the same, but different;
familiar, but unexpected.
For music or home cinema, you’ll be moved by the performance of Mo-
tion speakers. Consider the fast transient response and distortion-free
output of the Folded Motion tweeters, a technology that mimics on a
small scale the performance of MartinLogan’s big electrostatic transduc-
ers. Also, consider the broad, realistic mid-range dynamics, smoothly
blended with deep, musical bass, thanks to the exacting tolerances of
custom, hand-built crossovers. All of these beloved ideals and more are
presented in an acoustically enhanced enclosure that proclaims: this is
today’s performance loudspeaker.
