Calculating Overall System Widths

It’s simplified when you understand that the outer most Metal Uprights equate to 1/2 of an Upright each after
the center to center dimensions are totaled together. This leaves the equivalent of one Metal Upright
(.75” nominal) remaining to be added for the overall width of the system – no matter how many continuous
components of the same depth are on a wall.
To calculate overall width of an Everyday System with more than one component, add up all of the Center to
Center whole numbers (as designated in CAD) and add .75” to the overall number.
