16” 15.16” 15 ¼”
24” 23.19” 23 ¼”
30” 29.17” 29 ¼”
48” 47.20” 47 ¼”
• These actual dimensions need to be considered when measuring client inventory.
• In Classic, measurement is in internal dimensions. For example, 24” in classic means 24” internal PLUS
partitions.
Actual Dimension: An exact number in metric or imperial value that is precise to real world material dimensions.
Nominal Dimension: The Actual Dimension that is rounded up or down for ease of communication.
For The Everyday System™ the Nominal Dimension is rounded to the nearest 1/4” (0.25”).
Metal Upright Specifications:
Actual width of an Upright = 0.79” (20mm)
Nominal width of an Upright =
3/4”
Note: The Width of the Metal Upright pertains to the front facing dimension.
• In Everyday, 24” is referring to center to center on the metal partitions. In the above example, 24.75” is the
OVERALL dimension. 24” is the center to center dimension and 23.19”* is the internal dimension.
* There is a 0.02” tolerance on Actual shelving widths to support the fit of the part between the metal uprights.
