• Unpack the appliance and remove all packaging materials and labels. Clean the kettle using detergent. Rinse it thoroughly. The whistle must be
kept dry.
• Fill the kettle with water and boil it. Pour the water out. Repeat if necessary.
• Let the appliance cool.
• Wipe the outer surface of the housing with a damp cloth, and then wipe dry.
• Do not use chemical and abrasive cleaners for cleaning.
• Clean the kettle from scale regularly. Use special cleaners that can be purchased at special stores. Applying cleaners, follow the instructions on the
packaging.
• To avoid water overshoot, don’t fill the kettle over 2/3 of total capacity.
• The loudness of the whistle depends on the amount of water in the kettle. The level of water has to be below the spout by approximately one
centimeter.
• Drops inside the whistle can cause poor whistle. Lightly shake the body several times to remove water drops.
