Monitor Rear
Tally Connector
The LED tally can be activated via the HD-15
connector by connecting the corresponding pin to
ground. A variety of external devices can be
used to perform the contact closure. No
additional power should be supplied to the HD-15
port.
Network Port
The Network Port is used to access the Network
Control Page for the V-MD434 or V-MD503
monitor. Use a regular RJ45 Ethernet cable to
connect the V-MD monitor to your network.

connection details.
Service Connector
This is for factory and Upgrade use ONLY.
Please contact Marshall Electronics for further
information on upgrading the V-MD monitor.
Monitor Service Selector
This, in conjunction with the Service Connector,
serves to control which monitor to Service.
Please contact Marshall Electronics before any
attempted service to this monitor.
Power Input
Connect the 12 VDC input to the Twist-Lock
power input connector. Power can be supplied
from the included power supply or from a variety
of DC sources supplying at least 5.0 Amps at 12
Volts.
IMPORTANT: If using a power source other than
the included power supply, be sure that the
polarity of the DC input is correct:
Pin 1: +12 VDC
Pin 2: GND
Module Slot
The V-MD monitor comes with Module Slots for
Marshall Electronics’ line of future proof Input
Modules. Please contact Marshall Electronics for
a list of compatible Input Modules.
