Q The screen displays nothing and power off automatically.
A If you format the Player to NTFS format by Windows format tool, it will display
nothing and power off automatically. You must reformat it to FAT or FAT32 format
in Windows Explorer.
Q I can not turn on the player after not using it for a long time.
A Please fully charge the battery every two or three months when the player is not
used for a long time. Otherwise, the battery voltage may be too low to support
the player’s power on.
Q How do I play WMA and DRM protected files.
A WMA files ‘can’ have DRM protection which means the file content is encrypted.
To play these files, you need to have DRM licensed files on your computer. A
DRM license allows you to play the music but limits how you can use it. For
example, it prevents conversion into other formats. When you are downloading
music from the Internet sites, that required you to pay per song, these licenses
may be included with the download.
In order to play these encrypted WMA files on your player, you must copy them
to the player by using the Windows Media Player or the music management
software, provided by the online music store (more information in
‘Troubleshooting’) where the music are purchased. The traditional ‘Drag & Drop’
method e.g. in Windows Explorer will not work.
Here is what you have to do: Open your WMA file by Windows Media Player,
Version 10 or above Click “Sync” → Select the player as your device. If you do
not have a Windows Media player or your version of Windows Media Player is
outdated, you can download the latest version for free from Microsoft’s website:
www.microsoft.com
