knob

pulling
the
trigger;

letting
the
cccking
knob
go
forward
SLOWLY,
removing your
finger
from
the
trigger
at the
same
time,
until
it
rests
in
the ON
SAFE
position

Tubular
Magazine

only). Be
sure
the
chamber
is
empty,
bolt
is
closed and
the
safety
is
ON
SAFE. To
load the magazine
turn
your
riffe
over
and
unlock
the inner
magazine
tube
by turning
the
knurled
locking
end
plug
(photo
G).
Keeping
your
fingers
away
from
the
ntuzzle,
extract
the inner
tube
from
the
outer
tube
until
the
loading
port
is
ex-
posed.
Insert
the
cartridges
as
shown,
bullet
end
towards
the muzzle (photo
H).
When
you
have
loaded
up
to
the stated
nlagazine
capacity
shown
on
page (3)
for
your
particular
model,
slide
the
tube
back
in
place,
turning
it
slighily
to
ease
pas-
sage
over
the
loaded rounds.
Then
rotate
the knurled
locking
end
plug
to
the
locked
position.
