FT-1802E is a new, miniature, powerfull, rugged FM TCVR for the 2m band. TX
works in range 144-146MHz, RX 144-146MHz or 136-174MHz. Channel spacing
is programmable 5/10/12.5/15/20/25/50/100kHz. Repeater shift is +-600kHz.
Estimable output power 50W in to 50 Ohms load is set adjustable to 25W, 10W
and 5W. Current consumption at 13,8V supply voltage depends on output power:
10A (50W), 7A (25W), 5A (10W) and 4A (5W). RX power consumption is 0,7A
max. resp. 0.3A max. squelched. AF output power is 3W max. into 4 Ohms load.
TCVR has 219 memories, built-in CTCSS, DCS and EPCS decoder/encoder,
TOT (Time-Out-Timer), APO (Automatic Power-Off), ARS (Automatical Repeater
Shift). Supplied accessories is polyfunctional hand mike MH-48A6J, which has
all necessary tone functions (1750Hz T.CALL inclusive), standard menu and
programmable buttons for TCVR remote control. The Smart SearchTM feature
automatically sweeps a band and loads active frequencies into dedicated memory
banks. Rugged but miniature stable construction, Yaesu-exclusive illuminated
multi-function LCD display, massive cooler (no fan necessary) predestinate this
excellent TCVR not only for heavy mobile traffic but for base traffic, too.
