When the FTvirtual Server does not start automatically, you can start it manually using either
of the following methods.
To start the FTvirtual Server when logged in to either CoServer:
To start the FTvirtual Server when operating on a remote client PC:
Step Action Notes
1 Select a keyboard and monitor that are
connected physically to a CoServer that
is Good.
2 Start the FTvirtual Server. You can start the FTvirtual Server in several
ways:
• From the Taskbar icon on your desktop, right
click and select Manage FTvirtual Server
Start.
• From the Endurance Manager, select
Manage FTvirtual Server Start.
• From the Windows Program menu, select
Endurance Management Tasks
FTvirtual Server Start.
Click Yes on the Confirmation pop-up window.
The result is that:
• The FTvirtual Server starts.
• The FTvirtual Server Taskbar icon indicates
that the FTvirtual Server is Good.
• The FTvirtual Server is available to the
network.
Step Action Notes
1 Use the Endurance Manager to connect
to the CoServer.
On a remote client PC, launch the Endurance
Manager by selecting from the Programs menu
Marathon Endurance Manager.
2 Start the FTvirtual Server. From the Endurance Manager running on your
desktop, on the Manage menu, select
FTvirtual Server Start.
The result is that:
• The FTvirtual Server starts.
• The remote connection to the FTvirtual
Server can be established.
