6 On each Windows Remote Management System:
• Select Services, then double click on SNMP Trap
Service.
• In the SNMP Trap Service Properties (Local
Computer) dialog box, click Start in the Service
Status area to start the SNMP Trap Service.
You can also adjust the settings
so that the startup of the Trap
Service is automatic, manual, or
disabled. Refer to Microsoft’s
SNMP documentation for
information about each of these
options.
