(U13) Card check
The Card check menu does a sample read/write to check if a
CF card has problems.
1. While in stop, press both MENU/STORE/UTILITY
button and the SHIFT button.
2. Turn the Jog wheel until “Card Check” is displayed.
3. Press the Jog wheel.
The Display switches to “OK?” flashing.
4. Press the Jog wheel.
“Executing” will be displayed until Card Check is
finished.
Then write speed and read speed will be displayed
alternately.
5. Press the STOP/CANCEL button to cancel.
(U14) Menu Load
This feature allows you to load the preset data from the CF
card to the PMD580.
1. Insert the CF card in which a preset data file is
stored.
2. While in stop, press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY
button while pressing the SHIFT button.
3. Turn the Jog wheel until “Menu Load” is displayed.
4. Press the Jog wheel to enter.
The Display switches to “Upload OK?” flashing.
5. Press the STOP/CANCEL button to cancel.
6. Press the Jog wheel.
“Executing” will be displayed until Menu load is finished.
Then “Completed” will be displayed.
The PMD580 and display return to stop mode.
(U15) Menu Save
This feature allows you to save preset data in a file named
580preset.cfg.
1. From stop, press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button
while pressing the SHIFT button.
2. Turn the Jog wheel until “Menu Save” is displayed.
3. Press the Jog wheel.
The Display switches to ”Download OK?” flashing.
4. Press the STOP/CANCEL button to cancel.
5. Press the Jog wheel.
“Executing” will be displayed until Menu Save is
finished.
Then ”Completed” will be displayed.
The PMD580 and display return to stop mode.
(U16) F/W version
The F/W version menu displays the unit’s firmware version.
1. While in stop, press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY
button while pressing the SHIFT button.
2. Turn the Jog wheel until “F/W version” appear in the
display.
3. Press the Jog wheel
The Display switches to the firmware version.
4. Press the STOP/CANCEL button to cancel.
