(U02) Machine ID
The Machine ID menu allows you to have a Machine ID
information in a file name. The Machine ID is assigned in the
last of a file name. For example, if the Machine ID is “MZ001”,
the first file is numbered “abcdefghijklm_070312_MZ001.
wav”.
1. From stop, press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button
while pressing the SHIFT button.
2. Turn the Jog wheel until “Machine ID” is displayed.
3. Press the Jog wheel while Machine ID is displayed.
The first character of the Machine ID will flash.
4. Turn the Jog wheel to select a position and press
the Jog wheel.
5. Turn the Jog wheel to select the characters.
6. When correct, press the Jog wheel.
The next position will flash.
Repeat steps from 4 to 6 until all Machine ID characters
are correct.
When the space character is selected, the display
returns to the Machine ID, so proceed to step 7.
Press the SHIFT button and then press the Jog wheel to
delete the characters. Pressing the SHIFT button again
enables you to insert characters.
7. After editing, Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
The display returns to the Machine ID.
8. Turn the Jog wheel to select other Menu choices.
Press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button to store
the changes, or press the STOP/CANCEL button to
exit MENU mode without making any changes.
Display returns to stop mode.
(U03) File Order
The File Order menu allows you to select the way to sort the
files by name (aphabetical) or by time (Date).
Alphabetical
“Alphabetical” sorts the tracks by file name in alphabetical
order.
Example of alphabetical order
# > A > a >B >b >1 >2 - - -
Date
“Date” sorts the tracks in order of date and time at which the
track is created.
1. While in stop, press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY
button while pressing the SHIFT button.
2. Turn the Jog wheel until “File Order” appears in the
display.
3. Press the Jog wheel.
The Display switches to “Alphabetical” or “Date”
flashing.
4. Turn the Jog wheel until the order you want to select
appears.
5. Press the Jog wheel to set the change or press the
STOP/CANCEL button to cancel.
