Utility Menu
Utility menu, accessed from stop by pressing both the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button and the SHIFT button , lets you edit a
folder or file, set Rec scheduler and use other utility functions.
Utility Menu function table

U01 User area
On : Letters will be added to the User area of the file
name.
Off : Letters will not be added.
Letters : Up to 32

letters can be set in the Utility Menu.
Default = “Off”
✽1 More than 0 letters automatically include “_” in the
right end of the User area.
U02 Machine ID
Letters : From 5 to 8 letters can be set for the Machine ID
area of the file name.
Default =“MZ001”
U03 File Order
Select the playback order of the files in alphabetical or
Date.
Default = “Date”
U04 Rec Schedule Scheduler recording On/Off Default = “Off”
U05 RecSched Time Set times of Scheduler REC. –
U06 All Shed CLR Delete All Rec Schedule. –
U07 Make Folder Creat a folder. –
U08 Select Folder Select a folder of record and playback files. Default = “MPGLANG1” or alphabetical top folder.
U09 Rename File Change the name of a file. -
U10 Rename Folder Change the name of a folder.
U11 Track Delete Delete a file.
U12 Format Format a CF card.
U13 Card check Check a CF card.
U14 Menu Load
Load preset data from a file named 580preset.cfg in a CF
card.
U15 Menu Save
Save preset data in a file named 580preset.cfg in a CF
card.
U16 F/W version Check the firmware version.
