(S11) NTP Server
The NTP Server menu allows you to set the NTP(Network
Time Protocol) server. The PMD580 gets the time information
from the NTP server.
Selection Range Description
Disable /
000.000.000.000
– 255.255.255.255
• Turn the Jog wheel to up or down 1 step.
• Turn with Press the Jog wheel to up or
down 10 steps.
1. From stop, press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button.
2. Turn the Jog wheel until “NTP Server” is displayed.
3. Press the Jog wheel while NTP Server is displayed.
The first character of the NTP Server will flash.
4. Turn the Jog wheel to select the characters.
5. When correct, press the Jog wheel.
The next position will flash.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all NTP Server characters are
correct.
6. Press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button to save the
changes, or press the STOP/CANCEL button to exit
MENU mode without saving any changes.
7. Display returns to stop mode.
(S12) Time Zone
The Time Zone menu allows you to set the NTP (Network Time
Protocol) Time Zone.
Selection Range Note
Time Zone
–12:00 to +13:00
00:00 (Default)
1. From stop press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button.
2. Turn the Jog wheel so Time Zone is displayed.
3. While Time Zone is flashing, press the Jog wheel.
The display switches to Time flashing.
4. Turn the Jog wheel to tab through the Time zone
choices (–12:00- to +13:00 in 15 minute steps).
When correct, press the Jog wheel. The display
returns to Time Zone.
Display returns to stop mode.
Note:
Press and turn the Jog wheel to up or down 1 hour steps.
