6. When correct, press the Jog wheel.
The right most position will flash.
Repeat steps from 4 to 6 until all Machine Name
characters are correct.
Press the SHIFT button and then press the Jog wheel to
delete the characters. Pressing the SHIFT button again
enables you to insert characters.
7. Press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button to store the
changes, or press the STOP/CANCEL button to exit
MENU mode without saving any changes.
8. Display returns to stop mode.
(S06) IP address
The IP address of the PMD580 is automatically assigned
by the DHCP server or device when the IP address menu
is set “Auto”(Default). When the IP address is not assigned
automatically, use the IP address menu to set the IP address
directly.

• Turn the Jog wheel to up or down 1 step.
• Turn with Press the Jog wheel to up or
down 10 steps.
1. From stop, press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button.
2. Turn the Jog wheel until “IP address” is displayed.
3. Press the Jog wheel while IP address is displayed.
The first character of the IP address will flash.
4. Turn the Jog wheel to select the characters.
5. When correct, press the Jog wheel.
The next position will flash.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all IP address characters are
correct.
6. Press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button to save the
changes, or press the STOP/CANCEL button to exit
MENU mode without saving any changes.
7. Display returns to stop mode.

you wish to connect your PMD580, please contact your
network or IT official or administrator.
