(C01) Remote
The Remote Menu setting is for a wired remote (not supplied)
plugged into the REMOTE Phone jack. There are three remote
modes.

Manual Track
Start Pause:
During recording or playback, close to start, open to pause.
Start Pause TR:
During recording, close to start, open to pause.
After a record pause, start begins the next track.
Manual Track:
During recording, close to increment the track. A new track is
created at that point.
1. From stop, press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button.
2. Turn the Jog wheel so Remote is displayed.
3. While Remote is displayed, press the Jog wheel.
The Start Pause, Start Pause TR or Manual Track
will be flashing.
4. Turn the Jog wheel to toggle among Start Pause,
Start Pause TR and Manual Track.
5. When correct, press the Jog wheel.
The display returns to Remote.
6. If you are done making Menu changes to the Preset,
press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button to save
your changes.
Display returns to stop mode.
(S01) Date
The date is written on each audio track (file) when the track
is started. When an audio track is viewed on a computer, this
date appears as when the file was “Created”.

1. From stop, press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button.
2. Turn the Jog wheel until Date appears in the display.
3. Press the Jog wheel while Date is displayed.
The Date information will be displayed with the year
flashing.
4. Turn the Jog wheel until the current year is
displayed.
5. Press the Jog wheel to confirm the year.
The month will be flashing.
6. Turn the Jog wheel until the current month is
displayed.
7. Press the Jog wheel to confirm the month.
The day will be flashing.
8. Turn the Jog wheel until the current day is displayed.
9. Press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button to save
your changes. (or press the STOP/CANCEL button
to cancel all changes.)
10. Display returns to stop mode.
