(P02) Digi Out FS
Select the sampling frequency of digital output.

Auto Default
1. From stop, press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button.
2. Turn the Jog wheel so Digi Out FS is displayed.
3. While Digi Out FS is flashing, press the Jog wheel.
The 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz or Auto will be flashing.
4. Turn the Jog wheel to toggle among 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz
and Auto.
5. When correct, press the Jog wheel.
The display returns to Digi Out FS.
6. If you are done making Menu changes to the Preset,
press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button to save
your changes.
Display returns to stop mode.
(P03) Play mode
Play Mode lets you choose what happens when the end of a
track is reached during playback.

Normal (Normal Playback)
When playback reaches the end of a track it automatically
begins the next track until all tracks on the CF card have been
played. After the last track on the CF card, playback stops.
The PMD580 returns to stop mode.
1. Select the Play Mode menu choice:
While in stop, press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button.
2. Turn the Jog wheel until “Play Mode” is displayed.
3. Press the Jog wheel.
4. Turn the Jog wheel until “Normal” is displayed.
5. Press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button.
• The Normal Playback is set and the unit returns to
stop mode.
Repeat All (All track repeat)
During playback all tracks are repeated. Same as Normal
except when playback reaches the end of the last track. It
automatically starts playback from the beginning of the first
track.
1. Select the Play Mode menu choice:
While in stop, press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button.
2. Turn the Jog wheel until “Repeat All” is displayed.
3. Press the Jog wheel.
4. Turn the Jog wheel until “Repeat All” is displayed.
• The “REPEAT” indicators light in the display and the
all track repeat mode is set.
5. Press the MENU/STORE/UTILITY button.
• The unit returns to stop mode.
6. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button.
• The card is played repeatedly.
• If the All Track repeat is set during program play,
the tracks are played repeatedly in the programmed
order.
