Audyssey DSX provides natural realistic
sound that is just like being there
Audyssey DSX support adds front wide and
height channels to the 5.1 ch surround sound
system to expand the spatial reproduction
capability and increase the three-dimensional
feeling of the sound to provide a more realistic
experience. The AV7701, SR7007, and
SR6007 can select between and use front
wide and front height.
M-XPort supports the RX101
Bluetooth receiver
These models are equipped with M-XPort
(Marantz-eXtension Port) for connecting to
the RX101 Bluetooth receiver that supports
wireless music playback from Bluetooth (A2DP
profi le) compliant devices such as iPod touch,
a smart phone, or a computer. The RX101 can
also be used as an infrared receiver to allow
remote controller operation via the RX101 even
when the AV amplifier is located on a rack
with closed doors. The 2-way infrared signal
receiver is built in, so the RX101 can either be
set on something or mounted on the wall.
M-DAX 2
(Marantz Dynamic Audio eXpander 2)
Compressed audio formats, such as MP3,
WMA, and AAC, reduce the amount of data
by cutting out the high frequency signal
that is difficult for humans to hear and thus
has a relatively small impact on the listening
experience. M-DAX 2 uses a proprietary
algorithm to compensate for the signal lost
during compression processing and restore the
sound to close to the pre-compression state.
It also corrects the feeling of depth in the low
range to reproduce rich sound that does not
seem like a compressed audio signal.
Setup Assistant provides easy connection
and setup using on-screen guidance
This popular connection and setup support
function has been enhanced into a Setup
Assistant. The procedures for connecting to
and making the settings for the speakers and
various source devices are on the TV screen
to which the AV amplifier is connected. Even
people unfamiliar with AV amplifier operation
can easily make the settings.
Front panel USB port supports
iPod and iPhone digital connection
The front panel features a USB port for digital
connection of an iPod or iPhone to the AV
amplifier. The music signal output in digital is
converted to analog by the high-performance
D/A converter in the AV amplifi er. Your collection
of music in the AIFF and WAV uncompressed
audio formats, Apple Lossless reversible
compression audio format, and MP3, WMA,
AAC, and other non-reversible compression
formats is played back in high defi nition.
