4K super high-defi nition video circuit
supports next-generation displays
4K displays have 3840×2160 pixel resolution,
which for both the horizontal and vertical is
twice that of 1920×1080 pixel full HD. Marantz
supports this next-generation standard. This
model is equipped latest high performance
video processor and it supports the 4K video
standard. The super high-defi nition 4K signal is
transmitted unaltered and HD and SD video is
upscaled to 4K and transmitted.
2 HDMI outputs simultaneously + Multi
zone HDMI output
Apart from main zone's 2 HDMI outputs, the
SR7007 has one more HDMI Zone 2 output
which also supports 4K pass-through. Wherever
in living room or bedroom, you can enjoy high
quality video content everywhere, for example,
even when watching CATV in the main zone,
an HDMI video source, such as Blu-ray, can be
played back at the same time in the multi zone.
Moreover, main zone's dual HDMI support HD
video output simultaneously, switching between
fl at display TV and video projector become easy.
Thanks to built-in video up-scaling processor,
composite and component video can be
up-converted to one signal HDMI output.
The employed 7 HDMI inputs are supporting
3D video pass-through, ARC, HDMI CEC, Deep
Color, “x.v.Color” and Auto Lip Sync.

sound quality discrete power amplifi er
maximum output of 195 W (6 Ω)
All 7 channels are equipped with a discrete
power amplifier of the same quality. The
discrete configuration reduces distortion and
improves the S/N ratio. Further, the 7 power
amplifi ers are mounted inline on the heat sink.
This suppresses the variation in characteristics
caused by a heat difference among channels
and achieves surround reproduction with good
continuity. A large EI core transformer and
high capacity block capacitor are also used.
Using a low impedance circuit and the shortest
possible circuit path makes it possible to
supply ample current and achieve a maximum
output of 195 W (6
Ω). An output of 70% or
more of the 125 W (8
Ω) rated output can be
achieved even when simultaneously driving
5 channels.
Current feedback preamp circuit with
HDAM high-speed amplifi er module
The Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Module (HDAM)
is a Marantz original discrete high-speed
amplifier module that was refined through Hi-Fi
component development. The HDAM has
a slew rate that is much higher than that of
even a high-speed op-amp as well as a high
S/N ratio. The SR7007 is equipped with a
current feedback pre-amplifier circuit that
uses this HDAM. This creates a sound field
that truly approaches wide range and high
speed sound.
Sub-display on the inside of the
front door
The inside of the front door is equipped
with a sub-display that shows more detailed
information, such as the input signal format
and the surround sound mode. The dual
display achieves both functionality and a
simple, stylish design.
