The SR5004 provides 7 x 100W current feedback power and comes with decoders for the new Dolby PLIIz standard
as well as Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio. It gives you HDMI 1.3a inputs with Deep Color support and
offers i-Chip video processing for up-scaling to HDMI 1080p. It easily handles the most demanding scenes in action
films, as well as offering excellent quality music playback from Blu-ray, DVD, CD or via Bluetooth with the optional
RX101 connected to the M-XPort. Compressed audio will sound clearer and more detailed thanks to M-DAX, while a
host of other features such as Audyssey MultiEQ and Dynamic Volume, multiroom with multi-source flexibility, and
video off mode ensure you will experience your movies and music in true dynamic Marantz style.
The 7 x 110W SR6004 with customized main capacitors is versatile... very versatile! Firstly, it has the latest audio
format Dolby Pro Logic IIz for the new, highly-experiential overhead front sound projection. Set up is handled
automatically by Audyssey, which even corrects the room acoustic with a built-in equalizer. In addition, four HDMI
inputs offer connectivity for digital sources, which are then delivered via the two selectable HDMI outputs. And of
course, multiroom applications are also possible. The USB input on the front panel supports iPod (digital), with the
M-DAX guaranteeing great sound from compressed audio. But it doesn’t stop there, the SR6004 comes with a
Bluetooth receiver that you can connect to the M-XPort on the rear panel. This means you can enjoy your mobile
music library on your main system. Now that’s versatility in the extreme.
The Marantz eXtension Port is a dedicated 9-pin connector on the rear-side of a product. This port can be used for a
wide variety of applications by connecting a dedicated device such as a network client, DAB tuner module, iPod
dock, or others. Today there is the RX101 Bluetooth receiver. Further devices will follow.
Now you can wirelessly send data stored on mobile devices such as the iPhone or on PC systems supporting the
Bluetooth standard A2DP, directly to your Marantz product – thanks to the new RX101 Bluetooth Module. It simply
connects to the M-XPort and directs the signal to the AV Receiver or Amplifier. And since the M-XPort (Marantz
eXtension Port) also powers the module no additional power adaptor is required.
