Parental lock level setup
If a disc has parental lock level, the disc is played with
restriction based on parental lock level and disc contents. You
can set the player not to play what you do not want to show to
children. To play restricted disc contents, you need to enter
password. This section explains how to set parental lock level.
1. Press 9 button o/x to stop the player.
2. Press SETUP button !0 to display the main menu.
3. With Cursor buttons !1/., select “RATINGS SETUP”.
4. Press ENTER button @4/,. The below is displayed on TV.

5. With Cursor(3 / 4) buttons !1/., select “RATINGS”.
6. Press Cursor (2) button !1/..
7. With Cursor(3 / 4) buttons !1/., select parental lock level.
• You can select from KID SAFE, G, PG, PG-13, PG-R, R,
NC-17, ADULT.
8. Press ENTER button @4/, to confirm it.
9. Press SETUP button !0 to quit the setup menu.
RATINGS SETUP
Set password for parental lock
You need to enter password to play discs under parental lock or
to change parental lock level. This is to set the password.
1. Press 9 button o/x to stop the player.
2. Press SETUP button !0 to display the main menu.
3. With Cursor buttons !1/., select “RATINGS SETUP”.
4. Press ENTER button @4/,. The below is displayed on TV.

5. With Cursor(3 / 4) buttons !1/., select “PASSWORD”.
6. Press Cursor (2) button !1/. to select “CHANGE”, and then
press ENTER button @4/,.
• Password input screen is displayed on TV.

7. With numeric buttons u , enter your password.
• The default password is “0000”. When setting the
password first time, enter “0000” for the old password.
Note:
Do not forget the password. If you forget the password,
initialize the player. (
