Connect the mains cord to a suitable wall outlet. • The CR401 enters Standby mode, and the Standby indicator comes on. To turn on the CR401, press the POWER ON/STANDBY switch q or button z. • The CR401 comes on, the display lights up, and the Standby indicator goes off.

Have you operated the receiver according to the operating instructions? 3. Are the speakers and other components operating properly? If this unit is not operating properly, check the items listed in the table below. Should the problem persist, there may be a malfunction. Disconnect the power immediately and contact your store of purchase.
Symptom Can’t play a CD? Cause • The disc is upside down. • The disc is dirty. • Condensation has formed inside the CR401. • The CD-R/RW disc is nonstandard.
