For example, the new AV8801 ‘reference quality’ set is an 11.2 channel processor featuring DTS
Neo:X 11.2 for audiophiles who demand the ultimate in home theatre. is brand new pre-amplier
also gives you multizone functionality including HDMI video with an integrated 4x network switch.
Also new to this year’s collection is the MM8077 ‘reference quality’ main amplier, which boasts
7 channels and improved audio quality thanks to superior power supply, best-in-class capacitors,
quality components, copper plating, and more. e new MM8077 also has a ground-breaking intelligent
cooling system and a solid aluminium heat sink tunnel to ensure everything remains within its best
operating temperature range. Alongside the two new sets we also have the highly popular AV7701
Multichannel AV Pre-Amplier, and main ampliers MM7055 and MM7025. Important to note here
is that Marantz engineers designed the AV pre-ampliers to decode and process the highly sensitive
audio signal far, far away from the powerful (and interfering) amplication system. In fact, it is so
far away, the sensitive audio signal is decoded and processed in its own completely separate housing.
