REVOLVERS
You are now the owner of a Manurhin handgun. It is a rugged, de-
pendable weapon, crafted to last. Although it needs no really specialcare,
it is nevertheless necessary to devote a little time to accomplishing routine
maintenance, in particular of the barrel and the chambers of the cylinder as
these are the places where oxidation is most likely to occur, particularly for
certain types of ammunition.
SAFETY MEASURES
Transmission lever
The hammer energy is transmitted to the ring pin by means of a trans-
mission lever which is directly linked to the trigger and lifted to shooting
position only when the trigger is drawn back. Thus « MR88 SX et DX »
revolvers are ensured against any accidental ring, even in the case
where the gun should fall directly onto a hard surface, hammer down.
Latching of cylinder
The cylinder cannot be cocked when the hammer is engaged ;
the mechanism will not work when the cylinder is latched.
SIGHTING DEVICES
The revolvers with xed sights are factory adjusted, in accordance whith
the calibre to which the revolver is set.
The revolvers which are equipped with ajustable sights can be adjusted
by its user by turning the vertical and horizontal screws.
The directions « HAUT = UP » and « DROITE = R » appear on the sight itself.
