• Odorfade, due to oxidation by rust or adsorption on walls
of new cylindersand tanks, is possible. Therefore, people
shouldbe particularly alert andcareful when new tanksor

youthink youshould,assume youhavea leak.Thentake
the same immediate action recommended above for the
occasionwhenyoudodetecttheodorizedLP-Gas.
• If you experience a complete “gas out,” (the container
is under no vapor pressure), turn the tank valve off
immediately. If thecontainer valve isleft on,the container
maydraw insome airthroughopenings suchas pilotlight
orices. If this occurs, some new internal rusting could
occur. If the valve is left open, thentreat the container as
anewtank.Always be sure your container isundervapor
pressure by turning it off at the container before it goes
completely empty or having it relled before it is
completelyempty.
