In this position, the bipod will allow for ease of use and user
comfort on uneven terrain by allowing a 5 degree axial
rotation from vertical to either side (0 degree total
arc).
Retracting the bipod:
With the rifle pointed in a safe direction and the safety on Lock
position, align the bipod with the stock. Then, firmly pull upwards
and back on the arms of the bipod, align the tabs of the ends of
the bipod arms with the stock and lock them in the closed position.
18. INTEGRAL ACCESSORY MOUNTING RAIL
An integral mounting rail for the installation of accessories, such
as bipod, flashlight, handstop, aiming device, etc. is located on the
front lower side of the stock.
