Connecting to a Wireless Access Point
You have two options for connecting to a wireless access point (AP):
To take advantage of all the extra features and functions available in the
Manhattan conguration utililty (which you just installed with the driver), follow
the steps below in Section 1.2.1, then skip ahead to the Conguration chapter.
If you prefer to simply connect to a wireless AP without considering additional
settings, you can proceed to Section 1.2.2 and use the “WLAN AutoCong”
function (introduced in XP as “Zero Conguration”) that’s integrated into Windows
operating systems.

Using the Manhattan Utility
1. Double-click on the icon in the system tray or right-
click the icon and select “Open conguration utility.”

When the Utility screen displays (the General screen should display initially), go
to the “Available Network” tab and double-click on the wireless access point you
want to connect to.
