Driver Installation: The USB Drivers and PixelWorks flash programs were designed to work on Windows XP computers but can be used with Windows Vista and Windows 7 in XP compatibility mode. Upgrading your Manhattan LCD Monitor Firmware: After installing USB driver follow these instructions To Upgrade the firmware on your Manhattan LCD Monitor: 1. Open “NEW CODE HD089B & HD071A” folder 2. Run “FlashUpgrader” Program 3.

12. Calibration: Calibration must be preformed to achieve the best color representation on the monitor when using an analog input. Best results are achieved when you calibrate using the camera or video recording device you will be using in the production environment. If you camera does not have an option to send out color bars you can use a DVD player and a calibration Disk. 1. Plug in YPbPr Component Input to Video Camera or Video source connect it to you Manhattan LCD Monitor.
3. Send the Monitor SMPTE color bars to the monitor from your edit system, signal generator, camera, or video source. They should look like this. Or send color bar from provided DVD. Scroll over to the PWx90 using the arrows on the remote menu and select “YCbCr Calibration” by hitting the Right arrow > on the remote.
7. The monitor may be correctly calibrated, but because you are not used to seeing it this way it may appear to be incorrect. If you are having problems with calibrating the monitor there are a few things to check for. 1. Check your signal cables if the cables are worn out or not plugged in the correct position it may cause problems with calibration. 8.
