1) Make sure that the bulb is properly fitted in its seat and check for continuity between the bulb holder and the bulb
by means of a tester set to OHM.
In case of

discontinuity , replace the bulb and/or the bulb holder.

2) Check the stop switch.
3) Remove the upper handlebar cover.
4) Check that the cables connected to the switch are the

blue ones.
5) Connect the tester terminals to the switch couplings and check for continuity by operating the brake lever.

6) Check voltage at the bulb holder by connecting the tester (set to 20V DC) to the bulb holder of the rear stoplight as follows:

7) Turn the key switch to “ON”.
8) Operate the brake lever and check that reading between the cables is 12V.

If the reading is other than the above , continue with troubleshooting checking for continuity between the switch and the bulb holder.
9) Repair by referring to the wiring diagram.

1) Contrôler si l’ampoule est bien insérée dans son logement et vérifier la continuité (testeur en position OHM) de la
douille et de la lampe.

2) Vérifier l’interrupteur de stop
3) Démonter le protège-guidon supérieur
4) Contrôler si les câbles insérés dans l’interrupteur sont de couleur

5) Brancher les bornes du testeur aux contacts de l’interrupteur, agir sur le levier du frein et en vérifier la continuité.

6) Vérifier la tension sur la douille, en branchant le testeur (c.c. 20V) à la douille du feu arrière.

7) Tourner l’interrupteur à clé en position “ON”.
8) Agir sur le levier du frein en vérifiant si la tension entre les câbles est de 12V.

9) Réparer en consultant le schéma électrique.

1) Controlar si la bombilla está bien posicionada en su alojamiento y verificar la continuidad (tester en posición
OHM) del casquillo y de la lámpara.

2) Verificar el interruptor de stop

4) Controlar si los cables posicionados en el interruptor son de color

5) Conectar los bornes del tester a las conexiones del interruptor, actuar sobre la palanca del freno y verificar su
continuidad.

6) Verificar la tensión al casquillo, conectando el Tester (DC20V.) al casquillo de faro trasero.

7) Girar el interruptor de llave a la posición “ON”.
8) Actuar sobre la palanca del freno verificando si la tensión entre los cables es de 12V.
