C) STARTER SWITCH CHECK

1) Remove the upper handlebar cover.

2) Disconnect the 4-way connector of the RH switch harness and check for switch continuity.

3) Connect the tester (set to O H M ) to the

light/dark bluelight/dark blue

light/dark blue and

blackblack

black cables and press the button.

continuity , replace the RH switch.

If continuity is confirmedIf continuity is confirmed

1) Check for continuity of the

blueblue

blue cables between the battery/relays and the starter/relays with a tester (set to ohm).

2) Directly connect the (

+ ) battery cable to the pole of the relay to which the

redred

red cable is connected and the (

battery cable to the pole to which the

white/redwhite/red

white/red cable is connected.

3) If the relay

does not workdoes not work

does not work , replace it.

If it worksIf it works

If it works , continue with troubleshooting.

4) Using a tester (set to O H M ), check for continuity of the

redred

red cable from the stop switches to the relays and that of

the

white/redwhite/red

white/red cable from the starter switch to the relays.

5) In case of discontinuity, follow the route of the cables and check that there are no breakages. If need be, repair

referring to the wiring diagram.

If the stop switches do not work, electric starting does not work either.If the stop switches do not work, electric starting does not work either.

1) Démonter le protège-guidon supérieur.

2) Débrancher le connecteur à 4 voies du câblage du commutateur droit et vérifier la continuité de l’interrupteur.

3) Brancher le testeur (en position OHM) aux câbles

bleu clair/bleubleu clair/bleu

bleu clair/bleu et

noirnoir

noir , appuyer sur le bouton;

1) Contrôle de la continuité (testeur en position OHM) des câbles

bleus bleus

bleus entre relais-batterie et relais-démarreur.

2) Porter directement le câble (

+ ) de la batterie au pôle du relais où est inséré le câble

rougerouge

rouge; le câble (

-) de la

batterie au pôle où est inséré le câble bicolore

blanc/rougeblanc/rouge

blanc/rouge.

3) Après ce contrôle, si le relais

ne fonctionne pasne fonctionne pas

ne fonctionne pas , le remplacer.

4) Vérifier avec un testeur (en position OHM) la continuité du câble

rougerouge

rouge provenant des interrupteurs de stop et

arrivant au relais, ainsi que la continuité du câble bicolore

blanc/rougeblanc/rouge

blanc/rouge provenant de l’interrupteur du starter et

arrivant lui aussi au relais.

5) Si la continuité est interrompue, suivre le cheminement des fils en cherchant l’interruption et réparer à l’aide du

schéma électrique.

1) Desarmar el protector del manillar superior.

2) Desconectar el conectador de 4 vías del cableado del conmutador y verificar la continuidad del interruptor.

3) Conectar el tester (en posición OHM) con los cables

negro, apretar el botón,

si no haysi no hay

continuidad, substituir el conmutador derecho.

1) Control de la continuidad (tester en pos. OHM) de los cables

2) Llevar directamente el cable (

+ ) de la batería al polo del relé donde se encuentra el cable

-) de la

batería al polo donde se encuentra el cable bicolor

blanco/rojoblanco/rojo

blanco/rojo .

3) Después de este control, si el relé

no funciona,no funciona,

no funciona, substituirlo.

Si el relé funcionaSi el relé funciona

Si el relé funciona , continuar la búsqueda.

4) Verificar con un tester (en posición OHM) la continuidad del cable

rojorojo

rojo procedente de los interruptores de stop y

llegando al relé, así como la continuidad del cable bicolor

blanco/rojoblanco/rojo

blanco/rojo procedente del interruptor del starter y

llegando también al relé.

5) Si se interrumpe la continuidad seguir el recorrido de los hilos buscando la interrupción y reparar con el auxilio

del esquema eléctrico.
