MAKEVMA410 4. What is Arduino® Arduino® is an open-source prototyping platform based in easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino® boards are able to read inputs – light-on sensor, a finger on a button or a Twitter message – and turn it into an output – activating of a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online. You can tell your board what to do by sending a set of instructions to the microcontroller on the board.
MAKEVMA410 TXO High-voltage input/output of the MOSFET circuit. This pin interacts with the TXI on the low side. Bi-directional, but the only shifter that will shift from low to high. To send a signal from the low-voltage side to the high-voltage side (e.g. from 3.3 V to 5 V), the signal must be input at TXI. It will pass through the converter and come out as a higher voltage on the TXO (transmit output) pin.
