Loose X and Y-axis pulleys in your MakerBot Replicator 2X can result in belts slipping
during printing. If you notice shifts on the X or Y-axis during a print, it might be time to
tighten your pulleys.
1. Locate the X-axis pulley. It is attached to the motor mounted on the right side of the
gantry. Slide the extruders to the le until you have access to the set screw holding
the pulley to the motor sha. Use the 1.5mm hex wrench from the accessory box to
tighten the set screw.
2. Locate the Y-axis pulley. It is attached to the motor mounted in the back right corner
of the Makerbot Replicator 2X. Slide the extruders to the front of the Makerbot
Replicator 2X until you have access to the set screw holding the pulley to the motor
sha. Use the 1.5mm hex wrench from the accessory box to tighten the set screw.
