OPTIONAl. FAN K IT SYSTEM
Fan Kit Components:
,f 160 CFM blower assembly with 12 inch long grounded cord.
,f Electrical box assembly with plug receptacle and cover.
,f Wall mount variable speed switch.
NOTE: a qualified installer should do Installation of this fan kit.
FAN KIT INST AU .A T ION
I) Take fan kit out of box aml inspec t for damage and parts missing.
2) Op en lower grill f} And place fan housing 0 in the back of the firep lace between the back legs and tow ard the back
of the firep lace cabinet. Make sure that the rubber vibration washers do not fall o ff
of the legs of the fan housing.
3) Route the cord along the 00(1 0111 of the fireplace (0 the front right corner by the electrical ju nction.
4) Mount the 2" X 4" junction 00.'( 0 in the front right co me r o f the inside cabinet where the electrical knockout plug is
located. (The
insulation between the inside and outside knoc kout has to be cut OU!.)
5) L oo sen the wir e co rd retainer on the outside of the cabinet and run the elec trical wire through into Ihe junction box.
Co nnect the
wires to the outlet receptacle lind mount the receptacle to the outlet junction box.
6) Place the receptacle cover on the j unction box and plug in the electrical cor d. ti
7) Mount the variable speed control in the wall box that the electri cian has provided.
