To
remove the glass, take the d
oor
off
of the fmme by opening the door and lifting the
cas
t iron door up ofT
of
the
hinges. Make S
Ure
that the door is cool before laking orr
or
the unit. Move the door back and forth as you lift.
The
hinge pins arc snug. La y the door 011 8 n
ew
sp
aper
or
cloth 10 keep the sool and dirt from gelling on the floor.
Next. using a
Phillips #2 screwdriver. loosen the
fO
llr-(4) screws that hold the clips in place. (
SEE
FIGURE 4)
Make sure not
10 bind the screwdriver against the glass. Remove the glass thn! is broken and clean the area that
the glass sits in. The replacement glass
will
have new gaskcting installed from the factory. Make sure thai all of
the old gasketing is removed
from
thedoor.
Carefully place the new glass in the door channel and replace the clips that hold the glass in place. When
installing the screws make sure
thut thc clips nrc tightened evenly.

the other.
The
clips should put even pressure against the glnss so it will not move but is

0t binding. When you
tighten the scre ws, remember
that thcy nrc easily stripped lind should only be tightened enough to hold the clips
firmly
. Make sure that you do not bind the screwdriver again
stthe

. Finally, be careful uot to drop the cast
frame as you align
it with the hinges and slip it into place.

replaced with factory replaccm

ceramic glass (SEE FIGURE 5 FOR DIMENSIONS). Tempered or ordinary
glass will not withstand the high temperatures
of
the MAG NUM 'I.e. Replacement glass should be purchased
from you r dealer or the factory. Do not operate the unit with cracked or broken glass .
