External loudspeaker
At the back side, the stabo magnum multi is equipped with a jack
(C) for connecting an external loudspeaker with an 8 W impedance.
For improving the fidelity of reproduction, a loudspeaker can be
connected using a 3.5 mm mono jack plug. Install the loudspeaker
such that all possibilities of injuries to you or your passengers are
excluded in case of an accident.
PA (Public Address)
To use the radio as a PA amplifier you have to connect an appro-
priate loudspeaker to the PA jack (15/D).
Microphone jack
Connect the supplied microphone to the microphone jack at the
left front side of the radio set. Make sure that the recess on the
plug is oriented downwards.
Adjustment according to countries (6)
The stabo magnum multi features three different channel
configurations.
Prior to using the radio set, one of the adjustments has to be
selected.
D 80 FM channels / 40 AM channels
This configuration is permitted in Germany only
EU 40 channels FM / 40 channels AM
EC 40 channels FM
To select or change the configuration, please proceed as follows.
1. Switch the radio set off.
2. To select D press and hold the button up.
To select EU press and hold the button down.
To select D press and hold the button up + down.
3. While pressing the button switch the radio set on again.
4. Release the button(s).
Afterwards, the display shows channel 9 and the radio set is ready
for operation with the new channel configuration.
You can select the requested channel by using the up/down button
now.
Before using your radio set abroad, make yourself familiar with
the applicable regulations for the respective countries and consider
a possible compulsory registration.
