To determine the Glass Rate Meter calibration number for any glass yield
not given in charts C and D calculate the calibration number as the
example below.
VRC-2000-XXX, Pro Chopper and 4 Strand Chopper assemblies (70020-X)
Example: Yield 205 yds/lbs
Rotor circumference:
VRC-2000-XXX, Pro Chopper and 4 Strand choppers (70020-X) = 3.7699 in.
6 Strand Chopper Assembly (70010-1) = 5.4035 in.
1. Multiply yield number by 36 (inches in a yard).
205 yds 36 in
1 lbs 1 yd
2. Divide the circumference of the chopper rotor in inches by the glass
yield in inches.
3.7699 in 7380 in

3. Multiply the result of step 2 by 60 (the seconds in one minute).
