1. SAFETY 1.1 FOREWORD The technicians of Alessanderx S.p.A. will make sure that, during installation of the product, the user is duly informed about the risks of injury, the devices designed to ensure his safety and about the risks of noise emission, in accordance with the provisions of the international directives and of the legislation applicable in the country where the product is installed (see Chap. 3 Par. 3.10 “REFERENCE LAWS AND STANDARDS” and Par. 3.11 “SAFETY SIGNS”).
The MagniSmartech ©system is meant to be used in the following configuration and operating conditions: “MagniSmartech” version (complete system) with a motorized slatted bed frame, motor control & anti-snoring functions, and a vital signs acquisition system and chromotherapy. Other types of use are not compatible with the specific characteristics of the product. 1.3 GENERAL SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS It is absolutely forbidden for unauthorized personnel to perform any operation whatsoever.
1.6 DIAGRAM OF THE RISKY AREAS Area “L”:RIGHT/LEFT side of the motorized slatted bed frame (versions “MagniSmartech ©Motor” and “MagniSmartech”) At adjustment stage (raising/lowering of the front/rear part), the user may contact the moving parts of the motorized slatted bed frame. The “L” areas show risks of: abrasion dragging crushing External/lower parts provided with power/control connections and diagram of the MagniSmartech ©system drive motors.

The life of the battery is approximately 15 hours.
1.7 STANDARD REFERENCES Directives concerning the safety of the product Directive 2006/42/CE and subsequent amendments and integrations relevant to the machinery and that modifies directive 95/16/CE (recast). Directive 2014/35/UE and subsequent amendments and integrations concerning the harmonizing of the Member State legislation relevant to the availability on the market of electrical material to be used within some voltage limits .
The most important part of the safety warning is to prevent damage to people and/or things. - Use the motorized slatted bedframe provided with the “MagniSmartech ©Motor” and “MagniSmartech” versions only if in a good state and only by trained personnel.
- The bedframe drive motors are not designed for continuous use. The full functionality and lifespan expected of the system requires that the motors are not used continually for more than 5 minutes every 30 minutes or with a duty cycle greater than 15%. - Never cover the warning labels by hooks or bars. - Do not open the device or try to disassemble it. 1.9.
2. INSTRUCTONS FOR INSTALLATION AND START-UP 2.1 DESCRIPTION OF THE ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE 2.1.1 Arrival of the product to the customer’s location Upon arrival of the product, it is recommended that the customer: 1) check that the material delivered matches the relevant bill of lading 2) check the integrity of the packages and their contents 3) store the packages in a humidity-free, clean environment that is far from any corrosion agents. 2.1.

Make sure that all of the connection cables on the motors and on the vibrating systems are connected as appropriate to the MagniSmartech ©Motor by means of the color verification systems . 2. Connect the MagniSmartech ©Motor to the LEFT and RIGHT ethernet remote cables. 3. Connect the two push-button boards to the two ethernet remote cables. The position has no influence. 4.
2.1.4 User’s guide for the first power up “MagniSmartech ©Mattress” version with vital signs acquisition system and chromotherapy 1. Press the “A” button located in the lower part of the MagniSmartech ©Station. Press the button for approximatey 4 seconds or until the relevant status LED light lights up and turns green. 2. Wait 30 seconds for the system to start - the mobile phone holder should light up. 3. Press the “B” button located in the lower part of the MagniSmartech ©Station.
4. Turn on the Bluetooth on your device. The system is based on BLE 4.0 technology. Make your Smartphone visible to the other devices and proceed with pairing it to the other BLE. This will be performed automatically. 5. Make sure that the system confirms the connection between the Smartphone and the MagniSmartech ©Motor of the purposely-allocated APP screen. 6. Check the appropriate operation of the push-button boards. 7.
If activated, the MagniSmartech ©anti-snoring system will start the motors and move the user to a position that will reduce or completely eliminate the snoring, which is often due to the sleeping position of the neck. It must be taken into consideration that at least 20 seconds of snoring activity is required for the signal to be acknowledged; at that point, the motorized slats will incline by approximately 10% versus its starting position.

Humidity readings in the room, ambient temperature, ambient luminosity, sound pressure and atmospheric pressure are all detected through the sensors which are integrated in the control unit. The temperature of the mattress is read by a sensor directly placed inside the mattress itself.
• CELLPHONE HOLDER - the MagniSmartech AccessPoint device is a tray where the user can locate his/her Smartphone. The rear side of the system is provided with a USB port [A], signified with the writing PW-USB, dedicated to recharging the Smartphone. • CHROMOTHERAPY - The bed is provided with LED’s that can be turned on and adjusted as you wish, or you can select one of the pre-set programs: relax, wakeup or hot.
The programs can be individually managed to only one side of the bed, so you do not disturb your partner’s rest. In order to have access to the real time view with the remote, you need to log in with your own credentials as a recorded user, using a smartphone that is connected to the web. Recording of a session/reading of the historical records To start a data recording, a user within the domestic network uses his/her application where he/she is logged in by his/her personal account.
4. MAINTENANCE 4.1 GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MAINTENANCE • Before proceeding to any kind of action, carefully read the instructions contained in this publication. • All the routine and extraordinary maintenance operations are to be performed after disconnecting the product from the main power sources. • When the electrical equipment is operational, some parts of the equipment use hazardous voltage.
4.3 ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE 4.3.1 Modes of action Inspection, testing and any maintenance tasks of the product’s control and display units are to be performed in the manner described below: • Control and inspection of units/devices. The user must check that units/devices are working properly in the manner described (see the task description provided below). • Calibration maintenance or replacement of parts.

WASTE DISPOSAL AND DEMOLITION 6.1.6 The disposal procedures Since this product is electrically adjustable, this product is classified as an electrical device of industrial use in compliance with Directive 2012/19/UE on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Therefore, the replaced electrical components (drives, control devices, push-button boards, etc.) of these products must be treated as electrical waste according to the WEEE directive and disposed of accordingly.

SÉCURITÉ 1.1 PREAMBULE Les techniciens d’Alessanderx S.p.A. pendant la phase d’installation du produit feront en sorte d’instruire l’utilisateur sur les risques d’accident, sur les dispositifs prédisposés pour la sécurité et ses risques d’émission de bruit en accord avec les dispositions des directives internationales et la législation du pays de destination du produit. Le comportement de l’utilisateur, de la maintenance, de la propreté, du contrôle, etc.
Le système MagniSmartech est prévu dans la configuration suivante et avec les conditions d’utilisation ci-après : version « MagniSmartech » (système complet) avec sommier à lattes motorisé, fonction contrôle motorisée et antironflement et système d’acquisition des paramètres vitaux et de chromatothérapie Les autres types d’utilisation ne sont pas compatibles avec les caractéristiques spécifiques du produit. 1.
1.6 SCHEMA ZONES A RISQUE Zone « L » : côté dx/sx sommier à lattes motorisé (versions « MagniSmartech ©Motor » et « MagniSmartech ») Pendant le réglage (montée/descente de la partie avant/arrière), des contacts de l’utilisateur éventuels sont possibles avec des parties mobiles de la structure du sommier à lattes motorisé.
Les interventions éventuelles aux raccordements électriques ou aux câbles par l’utilisateur, pourraient être à l’origine de risques d’ : • électrocution • incendie Parties externes/inférieures de raccordements électriques/de commande et schéma moteurs électriques d’actionnement du système « MagniSmartech ») En outre, le système MagniSmartech ©Mattress, dans la table de chevet, contient un ensemble de tampons qui intervient au cas où l’alimentation principale devait diminuer.
1.7 REFERENCES LEGALES Directives concernant la sécurité du produit Directive 2006/42/CE et s.m.i. relative aux machines et qui modifie la directive 95/16/CE (refonte). Directive 2014/35/UE e s.m.i. concernant l’harmonisation des législations des états membres relatifs à l’utilisation sur le marché du matériel électrique destiné à être utilisé entre certaines limites de tension. - Utiliser le sommier à lattes motorisé, fourni avec les versions « MagniSmartech ©Motor » et « MagniSmartech », seulement s’il est en bon état et seulement par des personnes entraînées. - En cas d’utilisation du sommier à lattes motorisé fourni avec les versions « MagniSmartech ©Motor » et « MagniSmartech », après un certain laps de temps (on recommande au moins une fois par an) effectuer un contrôle approfondi pour vérifier le fonctionnement et les dommages visibles éventuels.
- Les moteurs d’actionnement du sommier ne sont pas conçus pour un usage continuel. Le plein fonctionnement du système et la durée de vie utile attendue sont assurés si les moteurs ne sont pas utilisés en permanence pendant plus de 5 minutes chaque 30 ou avec un duty cycle, supérieur à 15 %. - Ne jamais couvrir les étiquettes d’avertissement avec des crochets ou des ferrures. - Ne pas ouvrir le dispositif ni essayer de le démonter. 1.9.
2. INSTRUCTIONS POUR L’INSTALLATION ET LE DÉMARRAGE 2.1 DESCRIPTION DE LA SEQUENCE DE MONTAGE 2.1.1 Arrivée du produit chez le Client À l’arrivée du produit sur les lieux de destination, on recommande au Client de : 1) vérifier toujours l’adéquation entre le matériel remis et le bon de livraison en rapport 2) vérifier pendant la période éventuelle de permanence en attendant l’installation, l’intégrité de l’emballage et de son contenu.

Vérifier que tous les câbles de raccordement des moteurs et des systèmes vibrants sont bien raccordés selon le système de vérification des couleurs de MagniSmartech ©Motor. 2. Raccorder le câble à distance d’Ethernet à gauche et le câble d’Ethernet à distance à droite au MagniSmartech ©Motor. 3. Raccorder les deux télécommandes aux deux câbles Ethernet à distance.
2.1.4 Guide pour l’utilisateur au premier allumage Version « MagniSmartech ©Mattress » avec système d’acquisition des paramètres vitaux et de chromatothérapie 1. Maintenir le bouton « A » enfoncé (environ 4 secondes) en position sur la partie inférieure de la MagniSmartech ©Station jusqu’à ce que le LED de statut en question ne s’allume pas et devienne vert en permanence. 2. Attendre 300 secondes pour lancer le système, la cuve porte-cellulaire doit s’illuminer. 3.
4. Allumer le Bluetooth du dispositif. Le système se base sur la technologie BNE 4.0. Rendre votre Smartphone visible pour les autres appareils et procéder en accouplant des BLE, qui se fera de façon automatique. 5. Vérifier que sur l’écran à côté de l’APP, le système confirme le raccordement entre Smartphones et Système MagniSmartech ©Motor. 6. Vérifier le fonctionnement correct de la télécommande. 7.
S’il est activé, le système MagniSmartech ©anti-ronflement permettra en actionnant les moteurs et en positionnant l’utilisateur dans une position lui permettant de réduire ou éliminer complètement l’effet du ronflement qui vient souvent de la position du cou.

• PORTE-CELLULAIRE - le périphérique accesspoint MagniSmartech est conçu avec un reservoir porte-cellulaire dans lequel l’utilisateur peut reposer son propre smartphone. Sur le côté postérieur du système, il y a un port USB [A] sur laquelle il est indiqué PW-USB, qui sert au rechargement du Smartphone. • CHROMATOTHERAPIE - le lit est doté de LED qui peuvent être allumés et réglés à votre goût, ou vous pouvez sélectionner un des programmes prédéfinis - relax, wakeup ou hot.
Les programmes peuvent être gérés individuellement, sur un seul côté du lit pour ne pas déranger le repos du partenaire. Pour pouvoir avoir l’accès à la vision en temps réel à distance, il est donc nécessaire d’effectuer avant un login avec vos propres mots de passe d’utilisateur enregistré avec le smartphone correctement connecté au web.
4. MAINTENANCE 4.1 RECOMMANDATIONS GENERALES POUR LA MAINTENANCE • Avant de procéder à un quelconque type d’intervention, lire attentivement les instructions contenues dans cette publication. • Toutes les opérations de maintenance ordinaire et extraordinaire sont effectuées en déconnectant le produit du réseau. • Quand l’appareil électrique est en fonction, les parties déterminées de cet appareil sont alimentées par une tension dangereuse.
4.3 MAINTENANCE ELECTRIQUE 4.3.1 Modalités d’intervention Les opérations de contrôle, vérification et maintenance éventuelle des dispositifs de signalisation et de commande du produit sont effectuées selon les modalités ci-après : • Travaux de contrôle et vérification des dispositifs. La vérification du fonctionnement correct des dispositifs doit être effectuée selon les modalités prévues (voir interventions décrites ci-dessous), par l’utilisateur.
