p !_!ure.ln-Picture (PIP) is"the sfu;wing of iwo pictures on the
7k screen at the san_ tin--he main screen picture and one
small picture, or PIP. Because your set has two tuners, you can
enjoy all the be_fits of PIP without using a VCR as"a secoM
tu_rjbr )_ur PIP picture, Tune to your _vorite show on t_ main
semen with tu_r one while scanning ot_r ehannets with tuner
two in the PIP window. ALso view t_ AVI, AVZ or AV3 sources in

_ing the PIP buttons on the remote, you can move the PIP
vimkm_ around and swap it with the main semen, You can

practice using the PIP buttons,
Press the PIP on/off button to show the PIP window,
rhe window appears in a corner of the rv screen. Press
the PIP on/off button again to reduce the PIP window size,
and a third time to remove the PIP window from the
screen. Press the PIP on/off button again to _;how the PIP
window.
Press the PIP C,H DN/UP buttons to tune to channels in
the PIP window.
If"you press and hold the PIP CH UP button for l_hreesec-
onds, the set will aut_3maticatly perform a forward scan for
channels. Press and hold the PIP CH ON button for three
seconds, anti *:heset will m_tomatically perform a back-
ward scan for channels. Auto3scanning will stop if you
press an), ke)_ and it will also st_3pupon reaching the
channel at which scanning began.
Press the PIP POSITION button to move the PIP win-
dow from corner to corner on the TV screen.
With PIP on the "IN screen, press the SWAP button to
swap the main and PIP pictures. Press SWAP again to
swap the pictures back.
NOel E: I'he CVI source is not: accessible in the PIP win-
dow, so it cannot: be swapped between t_hemain screen and
PIP.
Press the FREEZE button to stop motion within the
PIP window.
rhe FREEZE but:ton allows you plenty of"time to write
down on-so'teen information such as phone nv_mbers or
addresses.
Press the PIP on/off button, multiple times if necessary,
to remove the PIP window from the screen.

The Pientm-in.Pictam (PIP) TINT control allows you to at{just
e PIP picture to obtain natural skin tones,
Press the MENU/SELEC1 butt:on. I'he on-screen menu
appears, rhen press t:he CURSOR RING DOWN twice to
highli_l: FEAT UI_.ES.
Press the CURSOR RING RIGHT to enter the FEA-
TURES submenu, Fhen press the CURSOR RING
DOWN repeatedly until the PiP item is highlighted. Press
the CURSOR RING RIGHr to enter the PIP submenu.
Press the CURSOR RING RIGH 1 or LEF I to adjust the
TINT to the desired level.
Press the S IA 1US/EXI 1 button to exit the menu.
