y:u can use the hutoSoundyz_ options to
utomaticalO' tailor the TVs sound f!_r
the Ope of program you are watching. The
,[hctot 3' has set the VOICE, _4USIC, and
THEATRE options. The settings for the PER-
SONAL option are the ones you select
through the on-s_en SOUND submenu. See
descriptions o/'the options below right.

Press the SOUND button on the
remote control. The current
AutoSoltnd TM setting will appear on
screen. Press the SOUND button
repeatedly to _ycle through the tour
options: PERSONAL, VOICE,
MUSIC, or TT-TEATXE.
When you see the option you want
on the screen, press the
STATUS/EXIT button to exit the
menu. The AutoSoltnd TM option you
selected is then active.
o AutoSound TM works only with the pro-
gyams confing through the ANTENNA
TN 75K2jack on the back of the T_.
AutoSound TM will not control the sound
levels of the other jacks on the back or
side of the TV.
o Tf you select an AutoSound_ option
other than PERSONAL, then the TRE-
BLE and BASS seStings specJl]c to that
option will also be written to the
SOUND submenu items. At that point,
the PERSONAL AutoSound TM option
settings will not be changed. Only when
you go into the SOLrND submenu and
change the TREBLE and BASS settings
wi]] those settings be reflected in the
PERSONAL AutoSound TM option.

AutoSound TM Options
PERSONAL presents the TV's sound
according to the TREBLE and BASS set-
tings you make within the SOUND sub-
iiqenl.l.
VOICE brings voices to the forefront arid
emphasizes them. Moves music to the
background.
MUSIC emphasizes music over voices.
THEATRE provides a balance between
voices and music.
