DVD Audio Setting
Choose tile appropriate audio settings for your- equipment, It only
affects during the playback of DVD,
1 Use A/T to selectthe desired item, then press OK.
Parental Setting
Parental setting prevents your- childrep from viewir_g inappropriaie
malenals, (password protected.) Playback will s_op if the ratings
exceed the levels you set.
1 Use the Number buttons to enter the 4dgt password for
your password, then press OK.
2 Adjust the following items.
DRC (dynamic range control) (Default: ON)
This funct on is available only on the dscs whch are recorded
n the Dolby Digtal format.

or when [Virtua! Surround] s setto [1] or [2],the sound w be
down samp ed at 48 kHz even if the [DOWN SAMPLING] is set

DOLBY DIGITAL (Default: BITSTREAM)
Set to [BITSTREAM] when this unt is connected to a Dolby
Digtal decode_

the Number buttons to enter the current 4dgit
password.
• You cannot use the default password (4737) to play
back a DVD.
2 Use A/T to selectthe [PARENTAL LEVEL],then press
OK.
3 Use A/V to select the desired item, then press OK,

To change the password
4 At step 2_,use A/T to select [PASSWORD CHANGE]
then press OK.
Use the Number buttons to enter the new 4dgt
password.
